Andy's 17th Birthday
I thought I would start by showing a couple of videos from Andy's birthday. The first video is just the family singing the traditional birthday song, and the second video is of Alex being attacked by Aunt Lori and Andy for not wanting to get his picture taken. We love to pick on Alex these days since he is the most moody, LOL! It was good for him to get a little attention too!
I will post more pictures, if Andy will find my cord that connects the camera to the computer; otherwise I will have to wait until Katie finds one at Best Buy for me.

Obviously, I am a "blue"
Tomorrow is Andy's 17th birthday (March 30th)...he's even talked about getting his hair cut! Look for more pictures on Friday and/or Saturday.
Here is the link if you want to find out what color your brain is: http://www.blogthings.com/whatcolorisyourbrainquiz/
Peace.
| Your Brain is Blue |
![]() Of all the brain types, yours is the most mellow. You tend to be in a meditative state most of the time. You don't try to think away your troubles. Your thoughts are realistic, fresh, and honest. You truly see things as how they are. You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about your friends, your surroundings, and your life. |

More update

Actually, there is no update, LOL! Honestly, this has been a very uneventful two months. I mean there are the usual things, like the ice knocking out the electric, having to go three days with no water, horses getting out because the new fence is down again, and a starling invasion of my barn (oooh..I hate birds!!!). Welcome to winter in Fayette county!**BTW, the starlings moved on after pooping all over the barn and feed room, tearing open feed sacks (yes, they even tore open feed sacks!). These birds are downright scary! At least they are gone now, so the next step is to power-wash the barn so the area under the sofit can be fixed where they were coming in.

We got dunked

Last Sunday mom and I got baptized. While I had been baptized with Grandma DeLong when I was 14, I was not immersed, which was the way Jesus did it; so mom and I got immersed (read...dunked). This time it was with 91 yo Grandma Freda there.
As for the sign...I just thought it was cool, LOL! BTW, there were no hot dogs at my baptism!.
Long time...no see!
There is so much to update, but to avoid becoming overwhelmed, I will post several small entries. The first is Andy...he recorded this himself. He is playing the bass version (not guitar) of this song. He has really been into playing bass lately.
Enjoy the video!

Catching up
It's been a while since my last post, so I will try to condense the holiday chaos into a small entry. Christmas and New Year have come and gone (I'm always amazed that New Year's Day is a national holiday) and all of the trimmings have been put away for another year. Christmas Eve at mom's house wasn't as bad as it could have been. We had a new guest this year for Christmas, and Grandma Freda couldn't stay up long enough to open gifts with us (I had t work until 7:30, so by the time I got there, it was just too late for her). There was, of course, dissension on Christmas Day...and you know who you are. It all worked out for the best, as Christmas dinner at my house was a nice, peaceful event. It was just mom, dad, Grandma Freda, Vicki, and myself. To my knowledge, my boys have never had Christmas dinner at home (they were at their other grandparents for Christmas there). Next year it will be different if I get to be of work.
New Year's Day was just like any other; however, I did start Weight Watcher's again..we'll see how long I can stick with it. So far, it's been 5 days and no cheating...I'm even doing the treadmill for 45 minutes a day...so far.
Enjoy the pictures. Peace.
